Naveen has over 25 years’ experience in the design and execution of major heavy industrial greenfield and brownfield expansion projects, as well as sustaining capital works for the mining, metals and process industries.
He is well versed in Australian and International Codes of practice for structural engineering and design of material handling and process plants structures for a variety of minerals and metals, namely bauxite, alumina, coal, copper, gold and manganese. Naveen also has significant experience in smelter projects for aluminium, copper, cobalt and nickel.
Naveen has worked locally and overseas on major projects of varying scale and complexity for clients including Alcoa, Hindalco Industries, South 32, FMG, BHP, CP Mining, Lihir Gold, Roy Hill, Newmont, Nickel West and CITIC Pacific.
Naveen’s depth of experience and subject matter knowledge allows him to have the confidence to remove conservatism, develop simple structural systems resulting in leaner designs.
